HRRL Stubbington Green

Facing tough opposition the “A” team fought hard for a fine 5th in Division One of the Hampshire Road League 10km at Stubbington Green.

Leading them in came Graham Wilton, his excellent 36.24 placing him 35th of 606 men and 5th in the V40 category. Mike Anderson (37.33) just pipped Dan Smith (37.35) on the line to take 6th M45.

The still improving David Lloyd (38.45) pushed Steve Murphy (39.14) out of an ‘A’ team place, while Andy Tweed (43.07), Tim Cummins (44.38) and Don Melvin (46.39) completed the ‘B’ team.

The ladies were 4th in Division Two, with Jane Georghiou first W45 in 41.16 (17th of 390 ladies). Susanna Ching (52.02) and new member Kate Dimmock (56.38) completed the team, followed by Tamsin Webb in 1.22.24.
