The ever popular Alice Holt running races are back! With a 10k, 5k, 3k, 1k and 60m under 5's Dash this is a great day out for the whole family. It's also a perfect run if you are tapering for the Pilgrim's Marathon the following weekend. Organised by Farnham Runners this event was BARR scrutineered in 2006 and given “Highly Commended”.

The event
We again organised a wide variety of races to encourage different age groups and abilities to join in with the fun.
- 13:30 3k (9-12yr olds), 1k (5-8yr olds)
- 14:00 Prize ceremony for 3k and 1k
- 14:30 10k (16yrs & over), 5k (13yrs & over)
- 15:45 Prize ceremony for 10k and 5k
- 16:00 60m under 5's Dash
The 10k, 5k, 3k and 1k races were chip timed with medals for finishers. Dash finishers received sweets!
New for 2011: Results screen with printouts on the finish line and SMS messaging of competitors' results.

There is something for everyone at Alice Holt Forest including adventure playgrounds, Go Ape, nature walks, cycling, refreshments, ice creams and BBQ by 'Cafe on the Green' - all on this special National Forest Weekend.
About the course
A scenic, multi-terrain undulating forest course, generally smooth hard-packed gravel making it safe and fast for an off-road event (unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs).
Drinks and sponge stations at the start / finish of each race and at half way for the 10K.

Free parking in the designated field 400m from the start.
First Aid provided by the British Red Cross.

- 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Senior, M40 & F35.
- 1st M50, M60 & M70 and F45, F55 & F65.
- 1st Male and Female teams (1st 4 to count).
5K
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Male & Female Senior.
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Male & Female Junior (under 17).
3K and 1K
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd Boy & Girl.
Dash
- 1st Boy & Girl.
