The event
Organised by Farnham Runners this event was BARR scrutineered in 2006 and given “Highly Commended”.
In 2010 we are again organising a wide variety of events to encourage different age groups and abilities to join in with the fun:
- 10K race - start 10:30am. For competitors 16 years or over (limit 600)
- 5K fun run - start 10:30am. For competitors 13 years or over (limit 200)
- 3K fun run – start 12:05pm. For competitors between 9 and 12 years old (limit 200)
- 1K fun run – start 12:00pm. For competitors between 5 and 8 years old (limit 200)
- 60m sprint - start 12:30pm. For the under 5’s with parent helper optional (no limit)
New for 2010 - chip timing. Collect your Chip and Number on the day.

Entering the races
Entries are accepted online or by post. Entries on the day only if places are still available.
Entry fees
- 10K and 5K events still only £10 affiliated, £12 Non affiliated.
(Entries on the day, if available, will incur an additonal fee of £3) - 3K and 1K events - £5
(If places are available on the day £5) - 60m sprint - Free entry on the day

No SAE is required - collect your Chip and Number on the day.

Race venue
Alice Holt Forest Visitor's Centre, Bucks Horn Oak, Farnham, Surrey, GU10 4LS
There is something for everyone at Alice Holt Forest including adventure playgrounds, nature walks, cycling, a shop selling refreshments, ice creams and gifts. You can ‘Go Ape’or take part in other forest adventures. There are lots of open spaces, wood enclaves and bring your picnic to enjoy whilst we award the prizes.
About the course
- This is a scenic, ‘multi-terrain undulating forest course’ and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
- Drinks and sponge stations are at the start / finish of each event and at half way for the 3K, 5K and 10K events.
Facilities
- Supervised baggage storage in a marquee
- Free parking in the designated field 400m from the start
- Port-a-loos
- There are no showers or changing facilities
- First Aid provided by the British Red Cross.
Prizes
All finishers in any category receive a medal and there are spot prizes in all races. The 1K, 3K and 60m finishers will also receive goodies!
Race prizes:
- 10K:
- Male: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Senior and V40 age categories. 1st only in V50, V60, V65 and V70 age categories.
- Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Junior, Senior and V35 age categories. 1st only in V45, V55, V60 and V65 age categories.
- Team: 1st Male Team and 1st Female Team (first 4 to score).
- 5K:
- Male: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Junior, Senior and V40 age categories. 1st only in V50, V60, V65 and V70 age categories.
- Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Junior, Senior and V35 age categories. 1st only in V45, V55, V60 and V65 age categories.
- Team: 1st Male Team and 1st Female Team (first 4 to score).
- 3K and 1K:
- Male: 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
- Female: 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
- Team: 1st Male Team and 1st Female Team (first 4 to score).
Prizes will be awarded on the day at approx. 12:45pm.
