Cross country and road racing

We attend a wide variety of local and not so local races, compete in two leagues and host the Alice Holt Forest Races every year. There are also some ‘club-specific’ races that we arrange as well as an annual ‘Grand Prix’.

League races

• Southern Cross Country League (SXCL)
  Races on a Sunday, once per month from October through to February or March.
• Hampshire Road Race League (HRRL)
  Races on Saturdays or Sundays between September and June.

Club competitions

• Club Championship
  An annual event, usually held in June, around the Bourne Woods 10km course
• Club Handicap
  An annual event held around Christmas / New Year and run in fancy dress
• Grand Prix League
  A competition running throughout the year based on participation in the two leagues that the club competes in

Other races

Farnham Runners members often compete in local and not so local races, everything from 1 mile to ultra marathons.
